At Long Island Jewish Forest Hills, we provide cardiology services to members of the Forest Hills community and surrounding regions. Our cardiology department is accredited by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission in Nuclear Cardiology and Echocardiography.

With flexible hours and attending cardiologists on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, we have the capacity to serve any adult in the community for a wide variety of emergency and inpatient conditions. Our diagnostic and therapeutic services include:

Invasive cardiology

Services in these areas are provided for adults on-site in the cardiology department and the operating room, including electrophysiology  and pacemaker implantation.

Noninvasive cardiology

Services in this area are provided on-site to adults in the cardiology department and at patient bedside. Services include:

  • Nuclear cardiology
    • Treadmill stress testing
    • Treadmill nuclear stress testing
    • Pharmacological nuclear stress testing
  • Multiple gated acquisition (MUGA)
  • Echocardiography
    • 2D M-mode echocardiogram
    • Color Doppler echocardiogram
    • Pulsed and continuous wave spectral Doppler studies
    • Transthoracic echocardiogram with bubble study
    • Transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE) including 3D TEE
  • Electrophysiology
    • Pacemaker interrogation and programming
  •  Other services:
    • Electrocardiogram (EKG)
    • Inpatient consultation
    • Outpatient consultation within our faculty practice offices at 95-25 Queens Boulevard, suite 2A

  • Monday – Friday: 7am-6pm
  • Weekends: 7am-3pm

Transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE)

  • Monday – Friday: 7am-3pm

Nuclear stress testing

  • Monday – Friday: 6am-3pm
